The Department of Product and Business Management researches and develops strategies, methods and tools for future-oriented company organization. A particular focus is placed on the systematic exploitation of innovative potential for products, services and business models emerging from progressive digitization at the market/technology interface. Here, the associated value creation is transforming just as much as the product itself. This, for example, prompts the question of how production processes and entire value creation systems can be consistently digitized and connected according to the principles of industry 4.0. We find answers to these questions and accompany organizations as they seek to master the digital transformation both systematically and successfully. The basis for this are viable strategies and plans relating to the business, its products and production.
